This feature is intended for clients who want to start out with more content than is practical to upload manually (100+ tracks).
- Audio files in the MP3 format
- A metadata file in the CSV format (see sample below)
- In the filenames that you upload (ex. if the ID is "12345" then the filename would be "12345.mp3")
- As the first column in the CSV metadata file
An example of an ID would be an ISBN for books (ex. 9783161484100), but it can also be a custom identification-system that you've come up with. Titles of tracks work, but should be lowercased and stripped of whitespace and non-alphanumeric characters, ex. "My Track Name!!!" becomes "my_track_name".
In terms of timeline, a typical plan will look like this:
- You send us the email of a Google-account that you control
- We give that account permissions to upload to a Google Cloud Storage bucket and let you know how to upload
- You upload all the MP3 files (named according to the above) and let us know when it's done
- We process the files and let you know when it's done
- You upload the CSV file to https://app.audiorista.com/content/ingest_csv/
Multi-assets
If you are using our "multi-asset" feature (multiple audio-files per track), the process looks slightly different.
To allow us to easily assign assets to each track in the correct order, please use IDs as follows:
- If the overall track ID is "12345", the IDs for each uploaded file should be
- 12345_01
- 12345_02
- 12345_03
- etc.
Also, the CSV upload will not work out of the box. Please submit it via the helpdesk and we will process it manually.
