To get started, go to My App in your dashboard and click on Images; you’ll find it just to the left of the Launch Checklist.
Before you start: some recommendations
Before you start uploading images:

Install the Preview App from the App Store or Google Play to test your styling changes before your app goes live. Learn how to download the preview app on the following link: Installing the Preview App
- Try to prepare your image assets. And if you’re new to this, we recommend you to familiarize yourself with file formats and picture sizes. You can check all the details here → what is the dimension of the graphical resources? This will save you time during the upload process.
Image types and their roles
App Icon
This is the icon that appears on the user’s home screen. It should follow these specifications:
- Size: minimum 1024 × 1024 px
- Format: PNG or JPEG (no transparency and rounded corners)
- Visible in: Final build only (not in the preview app)
➡️ To upload: Click “Upload” → Drag and drop your image file
To the right of the logo, you'll see a preview of how the icon will appear on the user's device.
Launch Screen Logo
This logo is shown while the app is loading the content. It should follow these specifications:
- Size: minimum 512 × 512 px

Format: PNG (with transparent background recommended so it can adapt if you change the app's color scheme)
➡️ To upload: Click “Upload” and drag your image file into the upload area. A preview will show how the logo appears during app loading.
Top Bar Logo
Appears at the top of your home screen after login. The logo should follow these specifications:
- Height: 128 px (where width can vary) or the corner alternative 128 x 128 px
- Format: PNG with transparent background
➡️ To upload: Click “Upload” and drag your image file into the upload area. You’ll see a preview of how it looks in the app’s top bar.
Welcome Image
Now let’s add the Welcome image, which is shown when the app is first opened or at welcome screens. The image should follow these specifications:
- Aspect Ratio: 9:16 (e.g., 1180 × 1920 px)
- Format: This can be a PNG or JPEG
- Tip: Avoid placing key visuals where the “Continue” button will appear. Double-check this using the preview app on your devices.

Placeholder Image
Used on dynamic pages (like Downloads) when content isn’t yet loaded.
- Format: PNG or JPEG

For customers on the business or enterprise plan who have opted for the web app.
- Size: minimum 1024 × 576 px

Tips for best results
- Use high-quality images to avoid pixelation.
- Stick to the recommended dimensions to prevent cropping or stretching.
- Always use transparent backgrounds (PNG) when layering over backgrounds.
- Double-check how your images appear in dark vs. light themes, if applicable.
