What are tags?
Tags in Audiorista work like smart labels for your content. You can use them to:
- Automatically group titles into collections.
- Help your listeners find related content.
- Enable filters to help users quickly browse by topic, genre, or theme.
Tags make your content easier to manage, especially if you run long-form shows, multiple playlists, or themed collections.
How to create and assign tags
Tags are created directly in the Title Details screen. Every time you type a new tag in the Tags field, it is automatically created for your project.
Here’s how to add a tag:
-
Open the title you want to tag
-
Scroll down to the Tags field
-
Type your tag (for example, Mindfulness, AI in business, or True Crime)
- Hit Save Changes in the bottom right
💡 Once created, tags can easily be reused for other titles.
Managing tags
You can view and manage all your tags in one place:
-
Head to the Content section and click Tags in the left-hand menu
Here, you can:
-
Edit tag names (this updates everywhere).
-
Group tags if you intend to use feed screens with filters
-
Show or hide tags in your app by clicking the eye icon.
-
Delete tags you no longer need.
Important: Tags that are hidden will not appear to your audience but will still function for organizing content behind the scenes.
How tags appear in the app
When tags are set to Show in App, they appear:
- On the title detail screens
- As clickable links to discover more content with the same tag
- As filters in feeds (if enabled)
This makes it easy for your audience to explore related content or narrow down what they see based on topics.
Exporting tags with a CSV
To get a full overview of your tags and where they’re used:
- Go to Titles under Content
- Click the three-dot More menu next to the Add Title button
- Select Export CSV
The CSV file will include all your titles along with their metadata, including tags. You can open this file in Google Sheets, Excel, or another spreadsheet tool for easy editing or review.
